Planning questions

Before you start your family planner

Is the Life & Estate Planner a will or a trust?

No. It is an organizational worksheet for information, preferences and record locations. Completing it does not create a will, trust, power of attorney or healthcare directive. Legal documents require their own preparation and signing.

Where are my planner answers saved?

Answers are saved in the browser you use. Download a backup and store it securely; clearing browser data or changing devices can remove access to that browser copy. Use Restore to import a saved backup. Protect printed copies and exported files as private family records.

Do I have to complete the care and housing transition section?

No. Section 19 is included at no extra charge and can be used when relevant. It covers preferences, options, belongings, move tasks and follow-up questions; it does not decide the appropriate level of care.

What this planner is — and is not

The planner is an organisational worksheet. It is not a will, a trust, a power of attorney or a healthcare directive, and filling it in does not transfer assets or name legal guardians. It does not create an attorney–client relationship. When you are ready for the legal documents themselves, start with a free 10-minute review.
